How to stop paint-like effect when importing image?

Hello, whenever i import images into verve it applies a paint-like effect to the image. Is there anyway to stop this? Since i like to play around between Photosohop a lot i tend to import the same image many times and this makes the paint-like effect very noticeable and also reduces it's original quality.

Uncheck the yellow knob for canvas structure.
Second possibility: Put liquidity to 0.
check "drying" to e on.

AH, you can also add a layer under the imported image and fill it with [ctrl]+[shift]+F.
