Re: funky freeze issue

Something funny happens when I use the Control+d freeze on larger canvas ( doesnt seem to happen on default smaller sizes)
It looks like a wave of fluids bounce off the side walls and very slowly spread towards the centre in a uniform rectangle that mirrors the perimiter....while the image is frozen.
See attached. Weird....but kinda cool actually :)

Re: Suggestions

@Stavros
I am still on verve0.99v27.
I can't recreate your initial issue.
If I put fluids on 100% and drying on 100% the fluids freezing instantly when pressing d.
If there is a delay it's max 0/10 second, but nothing significant in speed and result.
Doesn't matter which resolution.
Painting with "N" and pressing "d" I am still able to freeze exactly the moment I want.

The only time I have a delay is when fluid curls is on 0 - which always leads to strange behaviour.

Re: Suggestions

Thanks knacki that's good to know....
I suspected it might be my card or something catching up to verve.
I do find that the larger my canvas the longer it takes to dry at 100
Small canvas dry instantly.
So I suspected it might be my lack of processing power.
Funny though that the new freeze control d does stop fluids instantly even on large canvas for me reveals some pretty interesting details.

Re: Suggestions

I wouldn't be surprised if hardware is part of the problem.
Meanwhile I tested it on high speed etc.

Sometimes I have a kind of video feedback.

Fluids are going crazy forming patterns of all kind of stuff in pretty fast way.
This is something I can't stop with d. It will be smoothed out.
Borhani recorded those phenomenons with screenshots .
That pattern below the bird.

Selection + transformation

I know it is said already several times.
But what I am missing most in verve is selection and transformation.
It's already there as a kind of workaround over brush image.
That's a tough task to get thinks right though.

For me personally it has highest priority after GUI.
Ok. Color correction - something which would be lovely to stay in verve as well.
Contrast, Exposure, Hue, Saturation - I never really used curves, but I am ready to learn them :D

Re: Suggestions

Ah, I'll have to check, but I might be missing something....I'll have to check. It's a funky one, though. Nothing to worry about, I will find it! :ugeek:
