Can't download latest version

For SOME reason my latest version of Verve disappeared off of my computer!!! So I went to go download it again, but when I do, I get put onto a page that says:

This site can’t be reached
The connection was reset.
Try:
Reloading the page
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall

I wonder, if your network over there is getting more aggressive somehow?! It all works just fine here.
Possibly your firewall or some virus checker update might have gone completely rogue and lies about what you can't reach a file, just because it's an exe.

Try again, now, I've turned it into a zip archive! Hopefully that works?

I tried.... Now it gives me the option to save it somewhere, but then it says "Failed - Network error" D=
Let me restart my computer and give it another go and I'll let you know. (It'll be a little bit)

OK!!! It was my virus checker. Never had that issue before, but I disabled it and it was able to download. Sorry, I should have checked that first.

Can you believe the outrage?! How dare they have it say "Network Error"!? Honestly...upsetting.

OK... bad news.

My virus software (Avast) is DELETING Verve EVERY time they are running at the same time. It doesn't ask me at all, it just deletes it. I can see the icon, but if Avast is running and I click it, the icon disappears and I get a popup like this:

And if I try to unzip Verve again while Avast is running: It automatically deletes it again, without even letting me click on it. =(

*sigh*.... I don't know what is going on. Avast has never auto-deleted anything!

This is about whitelisting a file on Avast. I hope it helps.

Google itself spits out this:
Open Avast Free Antivirus, then click "Antivirus" followed by "Settings." You can paste the file paths you copied in the “File path” field where you see “(enter file path).” Click “Add” and the program will be excluded from all of Avast's protection shields, including virus scanning.

Yeah, it can be rough, if you don't know some of the keywords. "Whitelist" is important!
