Pen Pressure

I've noticed the pen pressure doesn't work for me. May I ask what everyone uses just so I can get a jist of what's what. I use the touch screen pen from my Lenovo x220 laptop. The screen works with a pen provided by Wacom.

Re: Pen Pressure

I've tried that and still did nothing. Also noticed sometimes the grid works and other times it doesn't. Man I just have a knack for breaking things without even trying >_<

Re: Pen Pressure

Hi Ravyn, sorry I missed your post there! The GL is supported differently in some machines and things can get funky the more you go off the "mainstream", so to say. I can only check for so many things and try my best to do my GL code by the book, but Verve is by its very nature off the beaten path, you know.
As for the pen stuff, I use the standard wintab library through Blitzmax tablet.mod and have to rely on what it provides thus far. There ain't much I can say about that, yet, either.

But all this is again a nice illustration for what happens, if you work without funding. Once I find a way to make that happen, funding would go into buying various devices and systems with different graphics cards and so to work on making it work on all of those. That also goes for mobile devices and different OS types (iOS, Android, mac).

All I can say right now is: Grrrrr! :( ...and I hope there will be a decent solution outside of my doing for now! :geek:

But I'm glad you came and wrote about it, of course! Needless to say that I'm happy you care for Verve! :D
Thank you for that and forgive me, please!

Re: Pen Pressure

=) all good, in worst case I'll just connect my old pen tablet to my other pc and play around with it (Its a really old one but I love it to much to get a new one lol). BTW Taron I really really enjoy your work. Gave me inspiration to try a few new things. I'm going to play around more with the program and work with it. ^_^ Thank you so much.

Re: Pen Pressure

You're VERY welcome!
I know, it might be daring, but try the experimental version and tell me, if it's any different!
