The character is from Satoshi Kon's animation "Paprika", which I watched a long time ago. While exploring how to make Verve simulate watercolor texture, I suddenly thought of this character.

Tadah, I wouldn't have possibly known that. But I'm pretty certain that it's a perfect match! ;) :ob
Not to mention the pretty nice take on watercolor. You can do quite a lot of wild stuff that is pretty watercolor-like in Verve. Good fun, too!
