Wow, that's instantly pleasing to the eye, Mike, great job!
The sand is odd to me, though, like it breaks the style and the perspective a bit and the gargling shadows under the car feel like they're a supernatural sinkhole about to open up, hehehe, but the car itself, the phenomenal wave and beautiful palm leafs are exceptional as per usual from you!

Hacks? Hmmm...ahm...the most professional credo goes: What ever works!
I pretty much always find that hacks are more challenging than sticking to principles, if you have the right principles and...eh...can't find the right hacks, hahahaha!
