First impressions and paintings
Prior to verve I'd use Artrage if I wanted to make 'painterly' art, photoshop feels very stiff compared to artrage. However Verve feels so smooth, a real pleasure to make art with I made myself a bunch of shortcuts for use with my azeron controller, which i'll share at the end on the off chance they're useful to anyone.
My first painting:
the liquid paint is mesmerizing, I love leaving some things to chance, or introducing a bit of chaos, it feels more 'alive'.
Second:
I think there are many settings to explore still, I love soft luminous colours.
Third:
I really love a slightly fluid brush, the texture is so pleasing, even a big one colour block is more interesting than usual.
My verve azeron keybinds (in the program rewasd):
I'd recommend keybinds to everyone lol, they make the process much more accessible.
