Yes it was.. And I have Verve/Taron to thank for it.. I cannot describe the exhilaration of doing this.. wasn't expecting even 40% of this.. Trust me .. when I say this.. This is purely Verve+ wacom+ crazy formula 1 mindset.. Thanks.. I am thinking.. may be .. you want to see the layers.. :P

Re: My first ever painting in 20 years

Next one on Speed and motion.. Speed and snowy slopes..

Bummer on the last F1 painting.. realized late that I had not saved my .vrv .. Taron how about an auto save to .vrv on your next update.. if it is not a big pain to ask for..

So no layers available.. I do have the layers for this art work.. sharing on my next post..

I wanted to say something to traditional paper/canvas artists.. verve helps me plan my layers.. and i would even go ahead and say.. it is a superb tool to plan your canvas and your approach to a painting.. Having said that., i am no expert.. and i am just sharing the learning that I get from every foot of the road.. that i think I have crossed..

Hope you guys like this..

Re: My first ever painting in 20 years

I Play it safe by breaking every level into a layer.. perhaps not the best way.. but I find that it works for me.. and if my layers make any sense to anyone.. I will be ecstatic.. 8-)

Re: My first ever painting in 20 years

Definitely fascinating to work with layers like that. :geek:
I personally enjoy the most to work practically without layers, if I "only" do a painting (Like "Spock", for example). But on occasion I'm having fun with them, too, of course. :)

Hmmm...I could place a warning, if you haven't saved it as vrv, yet, but want to quit! Autosave at those saving speeds would drive you insane, I'm 100% certain, haha! :PP
But, yeah, a good warning would make good sense. Also, I won't make it generic, but try to keep track of what you were doing. So, if you manipulate an image (or make a new one), I'll put a check into the VRV save routine. If that has never happened, I will display the warning on load or quit! ;)
GOOD CALL! :ob
