It stresses me out to write about myself (luckily I have someone who does), but it was appropriate to put something in the paper catalog. And there was no lack of mentioning you there <3
Marek Jarynowski finds the inspirations and starting point for his creative work in spots,
the side-effect of human or nature’s activity, arising, in some ways accidentally, as the signs
of evanescence. He tries to achieve a similar effect of randomness by making the first spots
in his digital painting. Then, he intuitively selects interesting figurative motives from the
non-geometrical abstraction and seeks rhythm, texture, structure or satisfying composition.
In his creative process he uses in an unconventional way the simulator “Verve Painter” made
by Timur “Taron” Baysal. As he says himself: “I base on a mistake. It happens by itself, again
and again and I am only a tool.”. As a result, forms and shapes are only suggested. That way,
“the spot” never disappears completely and the ambiguity of vision provokes viewers to
discover the unconscious content of their minds. It is the invitation to free interpretation,
deconstructing and constructing of new signs and meanings.
