Re: Taron's little gallery

mask instead or add canvas ...
current canvas great for watercolor
& different textures for pastel & oil
bigger & more complex even for highlights
real reallity not fake reallity !
in 2nd paint, the bump is too and fake
bump is nice but
if lower it is better almost
sometimes inspiring & now* : )
!
keyword: mask from texture , lower bump, better shadows

Re: Taron's little gallery

Thanks, b! Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, if I understand what you were writing und es hilft nicht unbedingt, dass you switch between English and Farsi, but it sounded sehr nett also danke for the feedback! ;)

Man, sometimes it's really rough to translate that stuff. I really don't know exactly, if you're complaining about how lousy my crap looks like, or if you actually liked it, haha!? Strange. Seems like you might've made some suggestions there, which I think could be very valid. I'm not that critical here with my doodles, but hope to help inspire and also respond to being inspired in a playful manner. There's no greater joy for me than to see when artists such as you and everyone else bring out unexpected qualities or even expected ones out of Verve, show what can be done with it. It's so wonderful to me when I can only imagine it must be and have been fun for the artists. But the very best thing is when I see an artist realize or pursue methods, he otherwise could not have pursued. When Verve is being explored seriously. And I think you display all of this from crazy silly nonsense to fantastic explorations. Others show amazing skills beyond experimentation that knocks my socks off. I can't get enough of it all.

But now I have to cure my evil headaches...argh...

Re: Taron's little gallery

With the new blending features one can easily get some cool effects like this sort of frosted glass look! Funky! 8-)

Re: Taron's little gallery

That one really wanted to be there, haha! ...kind cute, eh?! :D
Wanted to write something first, but felt this was more universal, hehe...

Thanks to both of you! 8-)

OH, more messages?!
Pilou, haha, we've been talking about this in the community threads already "Layer Opacity/Visibility"!
Tartan, yep, you sure should! Alone playing with Opacity can open a whole new world of access and control.
