Haha. Yeah.. I was just looking up "avast" and then the error message I got after it would disappear. THAT came up with almost nothing.

Seriously, I can't believe what irresponsible handicap they dare impose on innocent people, who think they need protection. I mean: "Network Error" is like the most generic AND misleading information it could spit out! Why would it not say:"We don't want you to risk having to actually need us, so you can't run anything that doesn't pay us off!" Or something like that.
But, honestly, a "virus killer" should always give an option, even if it was detecting a false positive! Something like:"This file looks like blah-blah malware! Are you sure you want to allow it?"

Anyway, it's a mad world. I keep telling people the truth, that I haven't had a virus in 15 years, am on the computer every single day since (except a few days some 7 years ago! And I've got nothing but the Windows Defender and AddBlock on my machines, and it's been at least 5 computers over the years.

Naturally, I'm always a little scared when I make public statements like this, but somebody has to say something. We must at least get those mafia bastards to ease up and give options.
