It just reminded me of that. Oddly enough, I think that was actually when I wrote my first fluid dynamics fire many years ago.

Is there a trick when you rotate the canvas to have only moves 90° by 90° ? 45° by 45°...

No snaps of any kind, yet! But it's a good idea, of course. Later, though!

So Taron,

Did you just make version '.03' to now only make brush #9 to react with the new canvas, whereas in the last version all brushes used to react with the canvas?

All brushes still act exactly as before, smudge will show you that! Only brush 9 paints with regards to the canvas directly. SOOoooo nothing is lost or gone, only stuff is gained!
