Hello Everybody
I'm not much of an artist, by any means, but here you go. I do have some experience tinkering with photoshop, but I'm actually one of those "gamer guys" with a decent hardware. so, I'm thankful Verve runs really well for me. Its a treat to play with, even if I cant do much. I just try to find ways to use the brushes and the engine to "cheat". using brush 8 and overlapping various shades and opacities can make for some very surreal skies and clouds. im not sure how I did the water, but I think it looks kind of realistic. I think it was just brush 3 with a single swipe across the screen, over a smudged dark blue. it took 1 second! I just got lucky, so decided not to touch it after that. haha.
I cant even remember where I heard about verve at this point...ive been playing with it for a couple weeks...I think it might have been a reddit thread that was like "hey, this is neat!" I really don't do much art, but I think because of Verve I might pick up a cheap used pen and tablet...the mouse works pretty well, but I know a proper pen would make it a lot more fun.
anyways, here is a big thank you to Mr. Taron for making this tool and sharing it. you rock!
...it's kind of what I'm hoping for with Verve, to give everyone of us a "regredless" chance to explore our creativity!
