Re: With verve into the light

Wow! This is some work already done!
Cool. I really need to try monolith.

To be honest, I invested 2-3h just to check how fast I can work with it.
Lovely wix!

Re: With verve into the light

I know your verve site for sure, Pilou ;)
Nice one!

Looked into this blender fun section today. Very cool.
Sadly, it's seems that I am not smart enough to do a decent render.
Which really pisses me off since ages.

Last days I came across a new upcoming CPU render.
Buuuh!
Only CPU.
Everyone is a GPU Geek nowadays and I want to use my super cool Titan GTX.
But Alpha v0.6 is free. No no. Not Bug free, but forever free (even commercial) as a 3ds max renderer. There is a Cinema 4D plug too.
It will come up in the next time for half the price of Vray and is supereasy to use.

Stop talking!

A stupid few clicks, some exposure adjustment on the fly while rendering and base hills done in 3ds max, it turned this 10 Min. verve 1280x720 sketch:

Curious?

Architects are getting horny, I think.....me too

Funny process : fluidity becomes solidify! :ob Excellent! c:!

(ps Finally Blender has resolved artifacts from files' CAD !) :ugeek:

Re: With verve into the light

Hi big K ;)
THESE ARE FANTASTIC LANDSCAPES !
Stavros did some similar tries with Blender previously :
viewtopic.php?p=9185#p9185
...but your 3D landscapes (2 last images) are somewhat different, and i don't get it all:
- how did you make those smooth mountains or hills in Corona_Displace7_web (and Corona_Displace6_web), is it from Verve or added afterwards ? if Verve how did you do ?
- and how did you get those futuristic urbanscape (steep walls with apparently flat roofs !) in Corona_Displace6_web ? i think it stems from these "notched" crocodiles in the first place, isn't it ? but then how can you get those notches ?!?
- what about the skies ?
Thanks a lot,
GBoGBo
