Re: Artwork de K4ICY

:o
Mike, man, you're something else, really. That's stunning! The density of detail, the liveliness of it...it's amazing.
I really, really hope you understand how much I'm in awe at what you're doing, because it's truly outstanding and unique. I have the greatest respect for it when I'm carefully adding how much I'm looking forward to you gaining ever greater control over the human figures, too.
We should altogether do some studies of anatomy and figure drawing, it would be fantastic fun.
You have such energy to go through this vast amount of detail, this fantastic consistency throughout. Once you expand that strength consciously to the people you so relatably feature within this puzzle of perfection, there's no stopping you, making quite a name for yourself with all this!

Fantastic! :ob

Indeed Mike.
Painting such a complex scene is a challenge a lot of people would fail.
Instead, you are playing with perspective and lights with such an ease, that it is simply a pleasure to watch.

Yes, and I would add that there is so much warm in your picture, even I can feel it from the "cold" machines. Very detailed and accurate. :ob

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts!
I was in a particularly sullen mood when I dove into this and spend two nights in the process.
Yes, figures are the hardest for me, and it's just going to take more practice with careful observation.

Re: Artwork de K4ICY

Again... amazing stuff, Mike! :o ... :bounce:

I'd consider giving her a little bit of eyelashes and maybe a tiny bit more form into the eyebrows, just to beautify her a bit more, but other than that: Knock Out! 8-)
Colors, lighting and choices to create depth are exceptional, man, needless to mention the strength of all the details. Her pose is great, too! Sure, it could get nudged a little here and there to make it a bit more flattering, but it overall has a great consistency and there's just too much to look at to not enjoy it, you know! Great, great stuff! c:!

(if you want detailed feedback on the figure, just ask!) ;)

Thanks Taron!
People are my challenge... practice, practice, practice.
Lighting and perspective are fun to play with.
One of my points here was to place her dominant eye directly in the center and at the horizon/perspective point.
She's only 5' high and the GTI is about that high. I considered leaning her more on to the hood, but as provocative as that would have made it, it would have looked uncomfortable.
I'm not so happy where the feet landed in relation to the car, but I did well for starting off with a clean pencil sketch by hand.

Re: Artwork de K4ICY

I have to agree about colors and depths. You have done an outstanding job with her And the car! Your use of one particular color (pink) Really sets things off in combo with the blue and Adds to the depth as well! c:!
