Harmony is JUST cool! I've done something so very similar some years ago, but this takes it a lot further. Very nifty!!! :ob

Krita has some similar sketching options :ob - nice maybe also for researching some forms maybe :ob

I have tested Krita but it is too slow even if you use common brush type (I think there is only CPU computation). Verve is much much better and more user friendly!

Krita is quite fascinating with great many features and nearly exhausting possibilities, but they are all from the "old" paradigm, cpu based computation. I somehow could imagine that it may transition from that to GL at some point. Then it might very well become stunning again.
After Verve I quickly spoiled myself to a degree where any of those "normal" painters are just too slow, even photoshop is somewhat painful to me. :shrug:
...that's another reason for why I really want to hook up all basic functionalities, too, so that there may no longer be any need to stray from Verve, hehe. 8-)
