Re: GBoGBo's random stuff

Hi GBoGBo,

no, I think your code is pretty decent for what it's written. I can smell fellow C programmer in it. ;)
btw. I just discovered your flickr photo stream. Man, oh man! I'm melting, but really....that's art! :D
You have peculiar eye for nature and natures creations! :ob
I literally can't point to any image and say .....this is a fake!
Haha I'm smiling by looking them, in very very positive way! Very gifted man!

Re: GBoGBo's random stuff

Hi zen, I appreciate your comment about my photography, i'm blushing now
And you're right about me being a former plain C programmer, i can't hide that :D (old story : in the 90's, i was a developper in "embedded real time software" in the telecomm industry. Not very funny but a good job in these years, now coding is done in India for the most part )

Re: GBoGBo's random stuff

You have many gorgeous and amazing pieces in your flicker gallery, GboGbo...if zen hadn't pointed it out, I somehow would've missed that, too. I apologize for that!

Hi Taron thanks
I have (much) more experience with a camera in hands than a brush, so give me 20 years from now and you will see (maybe)

Re: GBoGBo's random stuff

To have an idea what to look for gives you a massive edge on conquering that part of your art so...I think 10 will be plenty! :D
Nah, reality is, as artists we are never satisfied with what we achieve...it's almost a sign for being an artist to begin with, hehehe. c:!
As long as you share your process/progress, you function perfectly and beautifully as artist in any medium!

I'm glad you had opportunity to work in times when being a programmer was a great call! As opposed to this nowadays agile and script languages slavery, where quantity is praised over quality. I started in early 00's also in telecom industry; in times where everything slowly but surely fell apart, but at least had opportunity to use good old plain C.

Image
Large flat Brush #7 (bias -100%), fixed angles, mouse mode.
Mouse mouvements for erasing paint were controlled by Processing according to a stripped down 2D Mandelbox algorithm.

Re: GBoGBo's random stuff

It is not more speedy to create the image inside Processing (who has many Styles of drawing) then import it inside Verve ?
