But, there are already those hotkeys!
[ctrl]+[q] brings up mask mode. Then just hit delete! Clears the mask.
[q] toggles the mask activity on/off
[ctrl]+[shift]+[q] inverts the mask

Saving the mask would be a new feature, though. Really, you want that? ...I could hook that up.

I was thinking about something like a verve file manager

* With a preview of .vrv .... vrc ....... (.vr and management like rar, unral, add...)
* Timeline, calendar style
* Colorful bookmarks
* Size and canvas templates
* Sync to our forum

I really liked thunar file manager from Xfce Desktop Environment

Those works are done in a very old krita version 2.3
