Re: Suggestions

Thanks, Pilou! I really gotta push forward again soon. 8-)

However, I do feel like an idiot watching the Blending Liquids clip. :? ...ah...what's happening there? Liquids adding to liquids by some amount? I'd imagine this would beg for a different demonstration. Like one where you can actually see any difference.

Re: Suggestions

Interesting, because the Mr.Doob studies look the most sophisticated, while the corel painter tests look least interesting in terms of their quality and feel. Flame painter looks fun, too. But I'm trying to free my mind and focus only on what Verve wants to become first! :ugeek:
Thanks, though! ;)

Re: Suggestions

FIRST 0 THEN 1
FIRST OTHERS FOR VERVE
THEN VERVE FOR OTHERS !

من بسیار صبور و قابل انعطاف هستم دوست من
آرزوی دستاورد های ناب و بکر

Re: Suggestions

Uh, that was rough to translate. But I think I understand. However, I go with Verve into unknown territory, something that may never have been there before, or at least I really don't know about it, hehe. So, yeah, my main thing is to just have my head as clear as possible.
It is, however, also part of my plan to offer various different brush models, including some more conventional ones, but most likely with a funny twist! ;)

Ah, I think I understand your little english piece there now. Thank you, borhani!!! :D

Re: Suggestions

Mind if I post a suggestion?

Regarding the zoom feature: could you tweak Verve a bit to make it so that when we zoom in on the canvas, we can move it around so as to zoom in on various parts of the painting, such as in Photoshop. I'm referring to the Hand feature that Photoshop has. It allows you to move the canvas without painting anything, and it is especially useful for moving the canvas when zoomed in to see delicate details and paint carefully and in small spots. Does that make sense? :) I hope I don't sound crazy. lol XD If you've used PS before, I think you'll know which tool I'm referring to. It would be very useful on Verve. :)

Re: Suggestions

But you have tried [Alt] + [Shift], right? That's what is called "panning" and it does exactly what you are suggesting. I would probably never have released Verve, if that wasn't there right from the start! ;)
Alternatively you can actually also hold down middle mouse button for that! :geek:
