Okay, okay, alright, yes, no, this, no, it is not meant for 3d type of work or the likes and it's not really supporting this sort of stuff properly, but as I was somehow probing my way into it, it turned out to be super fascinating... here's essentially black on black with some hazy noise on top and proper glossiness to make it show! :D

Oh, yes! I'll have to do a whole lot for sure. I want to have the account system ready before then, though. :geek:

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Well, again, it's not meant as a 3d modeling tool, but it's hard to resist, playing a bit with relief making...

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

cool, very convincing, I can almost see wave impasto there,
The most radical impasto that I've seen in traditional media, is when a big chunk of paint material gravitationally falls folding over other part of the canvas, making a sort of wave, like in the beach when the crest of a wave falls into an adjacent part of the water. Googling "Impasto Mountain" can show some examples of the wave impasto.
Congrats.

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Thanks, Ed, yeah, it's a lot of fun working with that extra dimension! It somehow feels liberating to me to know that this is meant to be 2d, allowing to just work with more of the light than just its color, so to say, but not being forced to actually model something. What is probably the most amazing thing about this is its speed. You can very quickly forget that you're on a computer or something like that and just explore. c:!
