Re: Bug Reports

OH, can you send me the ".vrv" project file either via email (check bottom of my website) or some place online?
That would be awesome, Etsija!

Re: Bug Reports

Here it is. Might take a while before it is seen as syncing this 3MB file to Dropbox takes a while.

Re: Bug Reports

GOOD NEWS! :D
It is properly saved, YAY! So nothing is broken there! I have to look at loading now...weird that there should be any trouble, but we shall see...

<phewwwww> that was scary! It would've been horrible, if saving was a problem. :P

Re: Bug Reports

Ok, now it can get a little wacky, but I've just uploaded the same version again with a set of small changes to the load operations. Can you test them out and see, if the same nonsense still happens?

Thank you so much, Etsija, I'm sorry for those troubles there and they're not over, yet, but I'm so happy you're hanging in there! I'll do all I can!

Re: Bug Reports

Hi there, I just got into the software an I have no problems save for my tablet
I'm using a Genius EasyPen M610X and it works well with sai and photoshop
When painting mith my mouse everything goes fine, but when I use my tablet it seems to recognize the pressure and stuff, but it never actually paints. I stroke in everyway but it only paints when I click and drag with the mouse
I've already set off the pressure controlled toggles and can't seem to find a solution

My tablet has struggled with some other software like FireAlpaca and the in-browser drawing webs
Could this be just a thing on my tablet or is there a tablet setting I'm missing?
Thanks in advance

Amazing software as far as I've gone, congrats!

(btw, excuse my bad english)

Re: Bug Reports

Hmm, I have no idea. Any other users of this tablet online say anything? If the hardware is alright, it really is just a matter of the drivers, of course. Verve just uses a public domain wintab access, I guess, should be nothing fancy there.
I hope you'll find the solution. Looks like the tablet is rather new from what I see. Hopefully somebody reported something already, though. I'm sorry there's really not much I can do. :|

Let me know, if you found something, please! And thanks for reporting it here already.

Re: Bug Reports

Well, my tablet gives me a lot of trouble sometimes, so I guess its just because Genius never updates its tablets' software. I'm buying a wacom soon, so I hope the problem goes away
Thanks for the quick reply

EXEPTION ACCESS VIOLATION -> SOLVED take v0.99n

Solved -> take v0.99n :roll:

Hi.

Verve 0.99 on Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit crashes repeatable on maximum resolution and four layers.
You'll need more layers to crash it on lower resolutions.
It's repeatable on my two workstations as on my laptop.
New project, add empty layers and save -> crash
Exeption Access Violation.

My sytems are not bad.
All Win7 Ultimate 64 Bit
Laptop i7, Quadro 2000M, 16GB Ram
Workstation Xeon 3,2 Ghz, Quadro 4000, 24 GB Ram
Workstation i7 3930k@4,2GHz, Titan GTX, 64Gb Ram,

Hahaha - it is NOT crashing on my office tin. Win XP SP3 Dual Core 2,13GHZ, 2GB Ram, Geforce 8600 GT, but there it is not possible to paint.

A screenshot of my second (that's why I got a screenshot) try and also crashed wave pic just before saving - RIP:

But thanks verve I can do that again in five minutes :d :D

Re: Bug Reports

Sorry, overseen this thread. Maybe you can move this thread http://www.taron.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=91 inside here?
