Re: Suggestions

Great! PLUS I should tell you that the alpha that then still exists could be used to compute normals for refraction! If you only had some floating highlights, it would be a dead end! ;)
Here to help! :D

Re: Suggestions

That was weird... just wrote a post and it went away?! Hmmm...
Anyway, I've done a bunch of little 2d games for which I've used 3d shading. It looks very cool! :)
Normal map export is coming...

Yes, I imagine that can work nicely.
Creating games...I am really just exploring tools and things like that.. getting the threshold down for when real inspiration strikes. And in many aspects Verve is so great for that already!

Also normal map export YAY! I was kinda kidding actually. But yes i will love that soo much.. Especially considering how easy it is to make seamless textures now! :D

Re: Suggestions

Don't know if already mentioned, or possible.
I tried to draw with clear colour today, but wasn't successful.
Alpha on 0 an build up on 90-100 would be a lovely tool to draw water reflections.

The idea came up sawing your microscopic second entry.
First I thought it was done like this:

Re: Suggestions

Ahahaha...moving on.

Nah, ok, pfffffffhhhhh...that would be utterly bizarre, if you think about the troubles that would lead to... or maybe it would be genius, I don't know, yet!
But, no, the way I did this was with total madness, hahaha. But the easy approach is making one wild layer with loads of nonsense. Then copy that layer and use brush blur to soften the whole thing. Turn build-up to 0% and fluidity to 0% and brush on black...hmmmmmmmmm....maybe you could just fill it with black, come to think of it?! Hold on...yes, that would work, too. Then with brush blur on and brush 1 you can just blur the whole thing. Set glossiness and diffuse to your liking. Change glossiness and diffuse on the original layer, too...and you got a neat clear coat. But you can play around with layer modes and stuff to get really neat effects. Good fun! :)

Re: Suggestions

Using black colour and turn the layermode to (+) "add" is the simple solution I was looking for.
Thanks taron!
