Re: Suggestions

I'll have a go at arranging that, too. That's a surprising amount of work, too, haha, and I'd like to avoid having to do that too many times as things still come into the mix. But I will do it! ;)

Re: Suggestions

Hi everyone!

I've got this message: "Forum rules
Please, include some information about your computer setup (desktop or laptop, graphics hardware, OS)! That will help a great deal to figure out troubles, if there were some."

So I can't download Verve. What should I do? Pls help me out!

Re: Suggestions

Oh, you have a virus killer or the likes in the way. You should see, if there's a way to later permissions so that you can download it. Windows8 is kinda ok about it, as it does warn you, but you can click your way around it, even running it just fine.
Most importantly, you don't have to worry, it sure is no virus, despite what your OS or AV wants to tell you! ;)

Re: Suggestions

Hopelist:

Highest Priority:

1. Preset Manager.
A picture style constists of three presets groups imho:

1-Fluidity Preset
2-Brush Preset
3-Layer Preset

The layer preset I would die for saves all three preset groups BUT gives you an pop up option before loading presets, where you can choose to load all three, or just two or only one of the preset groups.
If just one preset group is loaded the other two kept untouched i.e.

Best to be saveable in an extra format for easy exchange between users and to quickly grow tool richness with predefined prestes for Watercolour, Acryl, Oil etc.

2. Stroke Recorder

The stroke recorder I would love to have lets you record paintings in any resolution and oplays it back in any resolution - like Art Rage, but mine let you also replay in existing pics on a layer easily. I.e. you have four different trees recorded, now let us quickly do a forrest ;)

3. Higher Resolution ( 4k)

Lower Priority
4. Custom Brush Alpha
Brush Presets Manager allowing custom alpha pics.
Saveable and exchangeable.

Even Lower Priority
5. Layer
Delete layer stroke tolerance is very narrow. Maybe it's just me.
Lovely functionality from ProCreate (Best multitouch UI on earth)
-Stroke left locks layer alpha
-Stroke right opens copy, duplicate, delete dialog
-two fingers on layer...double click?? opens opacity dialog which can be adjust via stroke on image.

6. Adjustable Brush Spacing

BUT IMPORTANT:
I used corel painter, art rage, krita, photoshop, autodesk sketchbook and almost every app available for ipad.
NONE of them did gave me that feeling like painting with verve.

Thank you taron, thank you so much!

Re: Suggestions

Thanks, Knacki, you certainly are on the frontier of Verve here, so to say, really breaking new ground with what you do with it already! :D
I'll keep that list in mind for sure! Currently I'm in the process of improving the fluids and migrating to the Cintiq Companion as well. It's a tough nut, because the Intel HD 4000 flat out sucks bad! Why they would sell a device for 2300 Euros and can't put a half way decent gfx card into it, I know not!

Re: Suggestions

I was wondering how one cold quickly share the way I made the water painting, as you asked for.
A Preset Manager was my first idea ;)

Oh dear,
I have no idea. So much money and it's huge enough.
On the other hand the display is for young eyes.....Well I tried zbrush on it.
Hell! tiny, tiny things all around.

Well Wacom is used to have 700% win and if this is not enough, they stop support for well working devices
But - I've never found an real option.
